Finalmente fueron cuatro los participantes del concurso, una cifra más que auspiciosa por la dimensión de la tarea. Resultó ganador el trabajo del grupo integrado por Ana Bajcura, Lucaz Piriz y Mónica Wagner. Un proyecto de San Pedro, recibió una mención.

Tal como estaba previsto, la segunda semana de marzo se constituyó el jurado integrado Eduardo Stafforini, Sociedad Argentina de Paisajitas, Mary Santarelli, Asociación Argentina de Rosicultura, Sergio Taurizano, Cámara de Viveristas, Marcela Cuñer, Municipalidad de San Pedro y  Laura Hansen, INTA San Pedro.

El proyecto ganador fue elegido porque hace converger la mayoría de las consideraciones realizadas en la convocatoria en una solución de bajo costo, sencillez constructiva y materiales durables.  Contemplando la posibilidad de disfrute durante todo el año a través de paisajes que cambian según la estación, destaca aspectos de conservación de la barranca (con propuesta de recupero) y especies autóctonas, sobre el mismo ecosistema. Y en ese marco, integra respetuosamente los rosales con otras especies paisajísticas producidas en los viveros de la zona. Además, realiza un interesante planteo acerca de la circulación e incorpora en ellos a quienes tienen capacidades diferentes para que lo puedan disfrutar, como  pendientes suaves para movilidad reducida, espacios que enfatizan el aroma, y espacio para el estacionamiento. Se destacan la existencia de un centro de interpretación y un escenario para concretar actividades especiales. Los autores de este proyecto ganador, son el equipo liderado por la Arquitecta Ana Bajcura junto a los estudiantes Lucas Piriz y Mónica Wagner.

Por otro lado, dadas las características del trabajo presentado por el equipo formado por las arquitectas Martina Veiga, Victoria Troiani y el arquitecto Marcelo Pérez, el Jurado decidió otorgar una  Mención especial. En los considerandos se destaca la incorporación de las especies que ya están en la barranca en sus espacios, la modernidad del mobiliario y el cuidadoso trabajo de rescatar las variedades de rosas que se producen libre de virus en San Pedro en integración valorativa.

Resta definir aún la instancia de entrega del premio, que dadas las circunstancias de situación sanitaria de emergencia que nos ocupan, deberá ser pospuesta por unas semanas. Se espera que apenas estemos nuevamente en condiciones, se concrete un encuentro para exponer los trabajos, compartir los proyectos y por supuesto realizar un acto a la altura de esta iniciativa.
