Nueva comisión en la Cámara de viveristas

Tras el año de pandemia que impidió concretar la asamblea presencial, el 28 de octubre con amplia participación se reunieron los integrantes Cámara de Viveristas, Floricultores y Afines del Noreste de la Provincia de Buenos Aires.

Además de los aspectos formales, el encuentro contó con dos momentos. La consideración y aprobación de la memoria de los ejercicios finalizados y de los estados contables; así como la renovación de todos los cargos vencidos de la Comisión Directiva y Comisión Revisora de Cuentas por el término de un año. Al oficializarse una sola lista, no se realiza el acto eleccionario mediante escrutinio y la Asamblea proclama ganadora a la misma sin que fuera necesaria la votación, quedando Francisco Lorido como Presidente de la misma.

Desde la Asamblea anterior, la Cámara estuvo muy activa, con la responsabilidad de ejecutar la financiación del «Proyecto Creer y Crear» del Ministerio de Desarrollo Social de Nación para  pequeños viveros de San Pedro para la producción de plantas arbustivas y frutales en maceta, que benefició casi medio centenar de productores en forma directa y a la Cámara, permitiendo  que cada uno de los productores cuente con un módulo de producción de plantas en maceta para aumentar la escala de producción, mejorar la calidad y ampliar el período de ventas. Se continuó con el proyecto de rosas libres de virus, logrando concretar la primera venta de plantas comerciales de esa calidad y distribuyendo material para escalar la producción, en una tarea aún en progresión. Próximamente se espera concretar un evento para difundir in situ esta producción entre los principales consumidores del ramo. También durante 2020 se firmó un Convenio de Cooperación Técnica con el INTA para promover el desarrollo del sector de viveros del Partido de San Pedro a través de la mejora de  la eficiencia del cultivo y la calidad de las plantas a comercializar, la promoción del compostado de residuos agrícolas e industriales para ser utilizado como componente de los sustratos para la producción de plantas en contenedor y la profesionalización del sector a través de capacitaciones, exposiciones y otros eventos.

Al finalizar la asamblea, el grupo tuvo una pequeña celebración, encuentro anual postergado por la situación de pandemia, que incluyó palabras del presidente saliente, Sergio Taurizano, y el entrante Francisco Lorido, entre otros. Incluso, hubo un momento especial para recordar a Adriana Gaitán, gran inspiradora y soporte desde la primera conformación de la Cámara, y participante del grupo de mujeres de la misma, que en breve comenzará un proceso de capacitación específica en torno a su perfil en la empresa, promovido desde INTA.
