El miércoles 23 de mayo a las 14 horas en Quinta Manacor, tendrá lugar una muestra de herramientas pensadas para el sector viverista, incluyendo chipeadora y fertilizadora.
El encuentro está organizado por la Cámara de Viveristas que invitó a la empresa Bernardin para mostrar sus propuestas para abordar un tema de importancia para el sector que busca aportar a un tema de vieja data como la sustitución de tierra por sustrato para la producción de plantas, utilizando materiales originados en la zona.
En la zona existen distintas alternativas para utilizar materiales locales, en todos los casos es necesario evaluarlas tras su estabilización. Sin embargo, muchas veces el paso previo es reducir el tamaño de las particulas antes de compostarlas para lo cual contar con una chipeadora es imprescindible para poder hacerlo.
El Grupo de Viveristas de Cambio Rural “Antivirus” está llevando adelante una experiencia de elaboración de sustratos y además, conocen la existencia de interesados en brindar servicios al sector en este rubro. La empresa Bernardin tiene una propuesta y está dispuesta a venir a enseñarla y probar su funcionamiento con materiales locales como pueden ser cortezas y residuos de poda. La iniciativa es acompañada por el INTA y la Municipalidad de San Pedro.
