Integrantes de la Cámara de Viveristas de San Pedro participaron del encuentro periódico entre las entidades vinculadas al sector productivo local. El proyecto de producción de rosas fue uno de los temas abordados.
El 2 de noviembre Sergio Taurizano, Pablo Ojea y Abel Gaido participaron de la Reunión Multisectorial convocada por la Municipalidad a través de Germán Font. También estuvieron presentes INTA, SENASA, Aduana, Centro de Comercio, Asiaconb, y Caproem, entre otros.
En la ocasión presentaron el proyecto de producción de rosas libre de virus, que viene un grupo de productores que integra la Cámara. El tema concitó el interés de los participantes, generó intercambio y una interesante devolución de los participantes.
También el encuentro permitió que los representantes del SENASA contaran las las novedades en cuanto a la implementación de nuevos procedimientos, que derivó en un intercambio respecto a las denuncias sobre producción y venta de material que no cumple las normativas vigentes. En este punto se puso a consideración la posibilidad de articular los esfuerzos de organismos intervinientes (Municipio, SENASA y otros organismos) para realizar procedimientos en los lugares donde esto sucede, como Vuelta de Obligado y venta en zona constanera.
